National Payroll Day is an initiative of the Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) www.ipass.ie which celebrates the hard work and dedicated service provided by payroll personnel in Ireland. It is their responsibility to guarantee accurate and timely payment of salary and wage payments for more than 1.8 million employees. The work of payroll personnel is usually taken for granted and often goes unrecognised and unrewarded, despite the fact that they play a vital role in every company. Payroll personnel in Ireland are responsible for implementing and complying with a wide range of taxation, social welfare and employment legislation and in the course of doing do, they process over 80 million payslips a year, and collecting and remitting more than Euro16 billion in income tax, PRSI contributions and levies to the Irish Revenue Commissioners each year. Fluid New Media was approached to provide a Visual Identity for the initiative and then to promote the day itself through a Website Package with a data capture form to invite companies nationwide to participate in the event. As most payroll professionals are incredibly busy throughout the year, we created a simple form that is present on all pages of the website, in order to simplify the process. As part of the reward for entering the company details, all companies that participated got a mention on the 'Participating Companies' page complete with a link to their respective website. Also, we provided a 3-tier platform for sponsorship opportunities; Platinum, Gold and Silver packages. Again, all companies that were involved in sponsorship received a link to their respective websites - all these external links improve search engine rankings. Client Testimonial“We were delighted with the website and visual identity created for us by David at Fluid New Media. In addition he was extremely helpful when discussing ideas and changes for the site. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was very patient with us. As this was our first-ever National Payroll Day initiative, we depended on delivery of a high quality service, with close attention to detail which we felt was amply provided by Fluid New Media and we look forward to working with them in the future."
